Wiki Name

A Wiki Name is any single word that can be used to identify a Wiki page. Such names are mainly lowercase but begin with a capital letter and contain some further embedded capitals. It's easiest to show this by example:

The following are all Wiki Names

JoeSmith
WikiName
AnotherVeryLongName

Note that, by themselves, the following are not:

JSmith
Wiki
OOPSLA

If you want to turn the above into Wiki Names then you must surround them with % characters.

%JSmith%
%Wiki%
%OOPSLA%

When a Wiki Name appears in a page, its rendition will depend on whether an associated page yet exists for it in the current Wiki Web. If a page does exist then the name will appear as a standard hypertext link and this will take you to the new page if clicked. If no corresponding page exists then it will appear as:

ANonExistantPage

Clicking over the will bring up an editor allowing you to create a new linked page of that title.
