Web Stuff That Sucks

There have always been a number of niggling issues surrounding web development and publishing which have come and gone off the radar, some however seem to be permanant fixtures:

• Metadata - people still dont get it, and its hard to manage even with sophisticated tools
• Usability - despite the efforts of champions of usabilty it seems that designers are still largely ignorant of usability concerns
• Stale content - web sites have always and seem likely to continue to suffer from a plethora of outdated unmanged and irrelevant content
