Tim O'Reilly's article What Is Web 2 on the subject should be read as as starting point, and Kurt Cagle's A Web 2 Checklist is also useful, and Dion Hinchcliffe's Best Web 2 Explanations is a great index.

You should also check out the Web 2 Workgroup which is a network of premium weblogs that write content about the new generation of the Web
